Policies

Supporting a Circular Fashion Model.

By renting or purchasing from CC Dress Hire, you agree to comply with our policies and understand these terms and conditions are binding. Failure to adhere to these terms will result in enforcement actions as deemed appropriate by Cc Dress Hire.**For persons under 18 years of age a parent or guardian has given approval for the dress to be booked.

Security & Payments
By finalising your booking, you authorise Cc Dress Hire to maintain the payment details on your customer profile.

If the terms are not met, you agree that any late fees, out-of-scope cleaning surcharges, or replacement costs will be automatically charged to this payment method. 
Replacement costs are dependent on a number of variables.Replacement costs may be up to 100% of the garment’s RRP.

Try-On Appointments
Cc Dress Hire strongly recommends customers try on the garment prior to booking.

In-store
Try-On appointments are available for customers in the Perth metro area.
Postal
Try-On appointments are available for interstate customers, subject to availability.

Interstate Delivery
Customers opting for interstate delivery must ensure their chosen delivery date is at least one day prior to their event date.
Cc Dress Hire will always endeavour to post your garment in a timely manner.
Any last minute postage rentals should be made before 1PM AESTthree business days prior to the arrival date.

If a postage rental fails to arrive by the chosen arrival date with the above
conditions met, the customer will be eligible for a store credit.Postage costs will be deducted from the store credit.The customer must post the rental as soon as possible, and no later than the
allocated return date.

Refunds
We do not offer monetary refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing or event cancellation.
Store credits are issued based on notice and hire value.
Store Credit Amount is calculated from the allocated pick-up/arrival date:
30+ Days’ Notice: 100% of Garment Hire Cost
29-14 Days’ Notice: 75% of Garment Hire Cost
13-6 Days’ Notice: 50% of Garment Hire Cost
Notice given 6-0 days prior the allocated pickup/arrival date is not eligible for a store credit.
If a customer cancels a rental and the rental has been posted and/or in transit,
the customer is not eligible for a store credit.

Store Credits
Store Credits are valid both in store and online.
Store credits can be used for Garment Hires and/or purchasing jewellery available in store.
Store Credits are valid for 12 months from the issue date.
Store Credits can only be transferred to a direct family member.
Bookings made using Store Credit cannot be amended or cancelled.

Returns
Late Returns
The garment is to be posted by the designated return date allocated at booking.
For return dates falling on a weekend or public holiday in which Australia Post Office counters are closed,
returning on the next available business day is acceptable.

Garments must be returned using the provided return slip.
Returns must be lodged by 3PM
 (AEST) on the designated return date allocated at booking.The customer understands the recommended and preferred return method is via
counter at an Australia Post (AusPost) Office.

In-Store Late Returns

A late fee of $20 per day will be applied if the garment is not returned by the
allocated return date.

Interstate Late Returns
A late fee of $20 per day will be applied if the return is not lodged by the
allocated return date.

If the garment has not been returned after 20 days of the allocated return date, the client will be charged 100% of the garment RRP.
Late fees will apply if the garment is not returned by the rental return due date. A fee of $20 per day will apply until the garment is returned.
After 20 days, the garment is deemed a non-return and the client will be charged 100% of the RRP.

Australia Post Office Returns
Customers will receive a lodgement receipt at every Australia Post Counter. Customers must
scan the QR code provided by Cc Dress Hire, to submit an image of their lodgement receipt. 

Yellow Post Box Returns
Customers must carefully place their package into a Yellow Express Australia Post Box Only. Customers agree that
Red Australia Post Boxes will not be used under any circumstances.

Customers must follow the prompts and submit an image of their postage. A link will be sent out to customers via email with the respective Returns Form to do so.
This must be provided by 3PM on the designated return date.
If an item has been returned via a Red Post Box, or any postal service other than that listed above,
the customer will be charged a $30 Non-Compliance Fee.

Should the garment be damaged in transit after being returned via an unapproved service
(including Red Post Boxes), the customer will be held liable for all repair or replacements costs in addition
to the $30 non-compliance fee.
Cc Dress Hire strongly recommends counter lodgement to ensure immediate scanning and to mitigate the risk of transit issues.

Garment Care
Under no circumstances is the customer permitted to alter, modify or attach anything to the item. Garment tape is the only exception. Any such alterations, modifications or attachments will result in an applicable damage fee.Attempting to clean minor marks or stains is prohibited as it may cause further damage.The hirer is responsible for any loss, theft, damage or destruction of the garment.

General dry cleaning is covered by CC Dress Hire, however, if the garment has been stained and requires additional cleaning,
the client agrees to bear the extra fees. The fee will be invoiced to the client following inspection of the garment

If the Client is notified of additional fees owed to CC Dress Hire,
such as damage or late fees, the Client must pay within 3 days of invoicing.
After this period, CC Dress Hire has authority to automatically charge their credit card on file.

Damages
CC Dress Hire will determine if damages are major or minor, acting reasonably in conjunction with CC Dress Hire’s
seamstress and/or dry cleaning provider:
Major Damages
are either beyond repair or ruined, which will require item replacement
Minor Damages
include excessive marks, stains, rips, tears, holes, fabric pills, broken components and removal of hanging ribbons

Item replacement will incur charges up to the full RRP (in addition to the paid hire). Payment is due within 3 days of notice.
CC Dress Hire may decide to keep the garment.

Clients acknowledge that they are wearing second-hand garments that have been worn by other people, therefore some wear and tear is to be expected.

CC Dress Hire will not provide refunds for garments that have normal wear and tear consistent with a level to be expected of a hire garment.
