Terms and Conditions 

 

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using CCDresshire. The Client agrees to the terms and conditions of this agreement. 

 

01. Standard Terms

1.1 CCDresshire:
(“CCDresshire”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”) defines CCDresshire.

1.2 Client: (“You”, “Your”,
“Client”, “Borrower”) defines the person that enters into a rental agreement with CCDresshire. Under no circumstances is the Client able to allow other individuals to wear the Garment in the Rental Period, unless permission is granted from CCDresshire first. If this occurs, the Price will be charged again.

1.3 Garment: means any and all
clothing or accessories hired from CCDresshire by the Client.

1.4 Rental Period: the agreed
and pre-negotiated period of time that the Garment is being hired by the Client.

1.5 Rental Post Return Date:
means the date the Garment is to be lodged at an Australia Post Post Office.​ 

1.6 Rental Return Due Date:
defines the date the Garment is to be returned to CCDresshire’s premises.

1.7 Price: means the cost of
hiring a Garment from CCDresshire.

1.8 RRP: means the Recommended
Retail price of the Garment as determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably​.

1.9 Interstate: defines any
Garment that is rented outside of Western Australia.

 

02. Payment

2.1 The rental price is
calculated according to the Rental Period chosen by the Client.

2.2 Payment of the rental
price can be made through Credit Card platforms (i.e. Visa, Mastercard) for online or card payments and cash is accepted in-store.​

2.3 Once the Price has been
paid in full, refunds/exchanges/store credits cannot be initiated for change of mind nor change of circumstances.

2.4 It is the responsibility
of the Client to try on the Garment before booking or to know their size requirements as refunds cannot be initiated as a
result of sizing issues.

2.5 If a hire has been placed
using a credit or voucher, it is final and cannot be swapped/amended or cancelled for another credit note. Credit notes are treated like vouchers, therefore is subject to availability of Garments and existing stock.

2.6 If the Client is notified
of additional fees owed to CCDresshire, such as damage or late fees, the Client will automatically be charged via their credit card. 

2.7 CCDresshire is able to capture the funds up to the value of the RRP if the order is deemed suspicious. This can be captured at any point of the rental period.

03. Returns and Late Fees –
Western Australian Hires

3.1 The Garment must be
returned by the confirmed period during booking. The Client can return the Garment before the period but will be charged a late fee for any returns beyond the confirmed booking period. The Garment must be returned to CCDresshire’s designated return location.

3.2 Alternate arrangements for
the Rental Return Due Date can be agreed between the client and CCDresshire prior to the commencement of the Rental Period.

3.3 Late fees will apply if
the Garment is not returned by the Rental Return Due Date. A fee of $15 per day will apply until the Garment is returned. The fee will be automatically charged to the Client.

3.4 The Garment is deemed a
non-return after 20 days and the Client will be charged 100% of the RRP.

04. Cleaning

4.1 By hiring the Garment, the
Client agrees that she will not attempt to clean the Garment. If the Garment has been damaged through any cleaning attempts, the Client will be charged a fee up to the RRP, determined by CCDresshire. 

4.2 General dry cleaning is
covered by CCDresshire, however, if the Garment has been stained and requires additional cleaning, the Client agrees to bear the extra fees. The fee will be invoiced to the Client following inspection of the Garment.

05. Damages

5.1 It is expected that all
Garments are returned in the condition that they were received by the Client from CCDresshire.​​​

5.2 If a Garment is returned
with minor damage, the Client agrees to pay for the repair (in addition to the Price). The cost of such repairs will be determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably in conjunction with CCDresshire’s seamstress and/or dry cleaning provider.

5.3 If the Garment has been
returned with damage unrepairable, however still wearable, (as determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably), such as pilling, loose threads and pulls, the Client agrees to pay ¼ of the RRP (in addition to the Price).

5.4 If a Garment is returned
with major damage, either beyond repair or ruined (as determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably), the Client agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the Garment (in addition to the Price), provided such cost will not exceed the RRP of the Garment. This must be paid within 14 days of the Garment being returned. The Client agrees that CCDresshire may decide to keep the Garment.

5.5 CCDresshire may determine
in its sole discretion whether the damage is “minor” or “major”.

5.6 Clients acknowledge that
they are wearing second-hand garments that have been worn by other people, therefore some wear and tear is to be expected. CCDresshire will not provide refunds for Garments that have normal wear and tear consistent with a level to be expected of a hire garment.

 

06. Postage and Returns 

6.1 The Garment is to be posted
by the designated return time and day allocated when booking. 

6.2 If the Client books an
outfit which doesn’t arrive on their event day (not receive day) they will be eligible for a full refund, minus the postage cost. The Garment must be returned unworn and sent back to CCDresshire within 24 hours of the arrival to the Client’s address. If the Client books a Garment with delivery less than 3 business days before their event day (not receive
day), the Client will be issued a credit note, minus the postage cost. The Garment must be returned unworn and sent back to CCDresshire within 24 hours of the arrival to the Client’s address. It is the Client’s responsibility to accept potential postage delays with such short notice for CCDresshire. 

6.3 The Client is to return
the Garment to CCDresshire’s return location via express post. The Client must send via email, proof of postage through the provision of a tracking number on the lodgment receipt.

6.4 The Client will be held
responsible for any issues that may arise during postage, if proof of postage has not been provided. If the Garment does not arrive back to CCDresshire’s return location after 20 days, the Client will be charged 100% of the RRP, in addition to the Price.

6.5 If the Client has returned
the Garment via standard post instead of express post, the Client will be charged ¼ of the Price again, to cover any loss of potential hires for CCDresshire.

6.6 Late fees will apply if
the Garment is not lodged at the post office by the Rental Return Due Date. A fee of $15 per day will apply until the Garment is returned. The late fee applies if proof of lodgement is not provided.

6.7 The Garment is deemed a
non-return after 20 days and the Client will be charged 100% of the RRP.

 

07. Cancellation

7.1 CCDresshire may cancel
these Terms or cancel the hire of the Garment at any time before the Rental Period by giving written notice. On giving such notice CCDresshire shall repay to the Client any sums paid in respect of the Price. CCDresshire shall not be liable for any other loss or damage howsoever arising from such cancellation.
